Here is the godfather of the French techno scene: Laurent Garnier. After the "Tales of Kleptomaniac" (2009) tour finished, Laurent Garnier takes the road again under “L.B.S”. Three letters with several significances: "Laurent+Ben+Stéphane" or "Live Booth Sessions" or "Loud, Low & Samples".

The legendary French DJ, who gave us of hits like "The Man With The Red Face", "Crispy Bacon" and "Acid Eiffel" returns with this new club oriented project, gathering behind the same desk Laurent Garnier (DJ & machines), Benjamin Rippert (keyboards) and Scan X (machines). Touring all over the globe, L.B.S offers Laurent the luxury of mixing the flexibility of a DJ with the impact of a live experience. Be ready for a four hour organic set! Pre-fun? Etienne De Crecy
[01:45 - 03:45]
Main Play Room

Etienne de Crécy is a monumental DJ, which along with Air and Alex Gopher launched the record label Solid mid 80’s. With its mixture of techno minimal & house, the DJ still refreshes the electronic scene and that after having been one of the founders of the French Touch itself. In 2011, De Crécy released "The Beats ‘N’ Cubes", a digital compilation gathering all the maxis he previously recorded, with many exclusive remixes (among others: remixes by Alex Gopher & Pierrick Devin, Paul Chambers and Autoerotique). Rediscover Etienne’s special touch as a DJ, and experience Sensation De Crecy. Also on DEEZER.

ModeSelektor Live
[22:30 - 23:30]
Main Play Room

Wildly diverse, infused with exuberance and inspired by a dose of the absurd, Modeselektor's inarguable grooves seem to emanate from every conceivable musical genre, creating a controlled chaos whose sonic expression elevates the eyebrows and heartbeats of critics and dance floors around the world. From hip-hop to electro music or rock music, the band covers a whole range of styles. Deeply inspired by the city of Berlin, Modeselektor is without any doubt a talent to watch: the band was highly praised by Thom Yorke himself while Moderat (the collaboration between Modeselektor and Apparat) got given the chance of supporting Radiohead on tour. They have a reputation of giving wild live performances, so do not miss this one!

Watch Modeselektor feat Tom Yorke- “Shipwreck” HERE or listen at DEEZER.

M83
[23:00 - 00:00]
Fire Starter Room

M83 (aka Anthony Gonzalez), is back with Hurry Up, We' Re Dreaming, epic double album released in 2011. The French composer, now living in L.A., offers one of the sexiest albums of 2011. Produced by Justin Meldal-Johnson (Beck, NIN, The Volta Mars, Goldfrapp) this new project pushes M83 towards new vocal territories where Gonzalez himself tests various registers of songs, from the ghostly buckled to the murmur of the howl. M83's style owes a lot to the shoegaze genre, in that there is much emphasis on tonality, extensive use of reverb effects and often softly-spoken lyrics at times submerged in instrumentation. Chosen by Pitchfork as « M83's most powerful and emotionally triumphant track » and as 2011 Top track, the first single “Midnight City” is a hit between daydream and rise of adrenaline. His performance in Brussels, for the first time with the his latest album, holds a few suprises in store… don’t miss it! Pre-fun? Listen to M83 on DEEZER.

Mr No
[21:45 - 22:30]
Fire Starter Room

It was not long ago since Mr NÔ, a young French producer, sent his demos to Different Recordings and had the chance to be signed straight away. Simple story’s still happen. As the French tour new heir, Mr Nô presents a virulent techno in the vein of predecessors Vitalic or Agoria. After working on some tracks and a inspiring graphical live show, the prodigy was quickly booked on the 2010 discovery stage of “Le Printemps de Bourges” in Paris. `The Snake`, `He or She` and `Vibrant`, three tracks from his first EP, showcase Mr Nô as a new techno talent to keep an eye on… Check him out on DEEZER.

The Toxic Avenger
[21:15 - 22:00]
Main Play Room

Named one of Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Artist to Watch”, the story of The ToxicAvenger (AKA Simon Delacroix) is like a warped VHS copy of a snuff film. He joined a grown-up Parisian hardcore band at age twelve while by age 22 he was packing venues with a growling new sound that left the faint at heart weak in the knees. Today Simon Delacroix is more than a paradigm-shifting producer (Roy Music-Universal), he’s a world-renowned remixer (Ladytron, Peaches, FF5, Chromeo, Beni Benassi feat Kelis). With “Angst: One”, a new Ep released in 2011, the iconic DJ, and diabolical hero of his own offers a twisted, grind-house epic music… what are you waiting for? Check The Toxic Avenger on DEEZER.

Raving George
[20:00 - 21:15]
Fire Starter Room

This young Belgian lady DJ is the new phenomenon, right after starting her raving flight early 2010. In February she took off, packed with a deep and sincere passion for electronic music, and an extreme love for clubbing and dancing. Completely high and sickeningly softheaded, she ended up being unable to function without some insane, god killing music screeching into her ears. After winning a contest in “Switch”, on Studio Brussel, she became one of their new monthly residents, and immediately saw herself getting booked at huge Belgian festivals like Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, Feest In Het Park Laundry Day, and I Love Techno. And now at PIAS Nites !
