From intimate showcases to our 10,000+ capacity festival in Brussels every year, [PIAS] Nites supports the independent music community’s artists at every stage of their career.

Since founding [PIAS] Nites in October 2006, we have hosted 85 events across six countries – with a total of 295 artist performances.

[PIAS] Nites is a powerful springboard for talent to establish themselves in front of a well-connected audience – helped by the event’s high-profile media and retail partnerships with the likes of Q Magazine, Radio X, Fnac, HMV, Studio Brussels and Arte TV.

WHITEST BOY ON THE BEACH

Fat White Family

Some people will call Songs For Our Mothers the most unpleasant album of this year, if not of their entire generation; the work of a bunch of drink and drug wracked nihilist degenerates. Some will say that it is a thrilling statement of disgust, defiance and complete creative independence made by the only rock band in the UK that really counts for anything at all anymore. But it is likely that few who hear it will walk away from the second album by the Fat White Family, released on their own label Without Consent, not caring one way or the other.

The Germans

Belgian band The Germans have been making music together for thirteen years, and in that time have developed an eclectic sound. The music they make goes from loud to quiet, seamlessly combining noise with pure songs. Their music is reminiscent of Sonic Youth, Brainiac, Liars, Captain Beefheart and early krautrock (Can, Faust, Neu!), but equally The Beatles, Pink Floyd and David Bowie can also be heard in there.

STUFF (late night show)

STUFF is a 5 piece live band that brings a cross genre groove, spanning from broken hip-hop to more electronic and jazz influenced funk.
